Evelyn Sun
Assistant Professor of Teaching
I am broadly interested in how we can implement ways to promote science literacy in the classroom. The focus of my post-doctoral work which has continued to this day is to expand the number of course-based undergraduate research experiences (CUREs) in the department. I am interested in adapting a long-running CURE model in our department to include research in various areas of interest. I have recently been involved in the development of data science CURE that focuses on microbial ecology.
