Accomplishments & Special Interests
I work in partnership with colleagues to design and deliver inclusive student-focused, active learning that supports students to develop the knowledge and critical thinking skills to be successful in their studies and future career. My educational research has evaluated the utility of innovative teaching practices such as Virtual Reality and open educational resources in the classroom and across institutions. I am an advocate for widening access to higher education and increasing the accessibility of science to members of the public. I believe in establishing meaningful dialogue with members of the public to influence research agenda and processes.
